Sharing the Good News with All
The good news of the gospel is for everyone. However, reaching people with the gospel can vary in difficulty depending on their circumstances. Often, it is easier to approach those who are less affluent, as they may be more open to the message. The key is to find common ground and approach individuals in a way that resonates with them.
I have a personal story that illustrates this beautifully. There was a lady who took care of me when I was growing up in Haiti, whom I affectionately call "aunty." My siblings and I always knew of her deep love for us, and she knew of our love for her. Despite this strong bond, every time I tried to share the gospel with her, she would walk away.
Recently, I gave her a PROCLAMER, a durable portable radio with a dramatized Bible reading. Initially, she was hesitant to listen, but eventually, she began to engage with it. To my great joy, the PROCLAMER helped her come to the cross and accept Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. This was a profound moment of joy from heaven to earth. After so many years, it was a blessing to witness how the PROCLAMER touched her heart for the Lord. Glory be to God!

Faith Comes by Hearing is an organization that provides people worldwide with free access to God’s Word through Audio Bibles in every translated language. Every person deserves free access to the Bible in their heart language. This program allows anyone, anywhere in the world, to download a dramatized Bible app on their phone permanently, without needing internet access. Once downloaded, they can listen to the Bible offline at any time.
In Haiti, the majority of people have cell phones, but internet access is limited. Building Life For Haiti, Inc., aims to work with Faith Comes by Hearing to bring this invaluable app to Haiti. We strongly believe in the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ and its ability to transform lives.
